The inner material dissipates static electrical charges through the coiled cord with alligator clip to ground. A convenient common ground receptacle is provided for connecting both grounding and wrist strap cords.

The PSSI Field Service Kit is manufactured of durable materials that meet all conductivity and static decay specifications of MIL-B-81705B and NFPA #56A.
